Generating Ideas With Technology

In this day and age, I find it a little unbelievable that we allow our innovators to go without ideas. We really need the better ideas to keep our society moving forward. Technology must be good. It needs to become an essential part of our culture. The internet, especially has become so popular because of the many ideas that have sprung up out of it. This is where I believe that technology is really great. In fact, I see that every great innovation will be used to disrupt something else on the planet.

I heard a story from a Greek philosopher once about a hawk named Apollo. It was a great philosophical piece about how innovation works. There was a time when nobody knew where he kept his ideas. Now, you will never know where ideas come from, because they are usually not given away. The invention of writing made people less likely to steal ideas from each other. This was a great thing, because it gave each individual a sense of control over their lives. The Internet has given us the ability to connect to almost anyone in the world for absolutely free.

So, we really don’t need the innovators to generate ideas. We need the technology, because if we don’t have the technology we will just turn back to technology. Innovation is only going to continue. It will be very difficult to stop it, but it will probably take a better economic situation in order to stop it. Think about it. A better economy will allow us to use all our resources to help out innovators. In this case, let’s make sure we aren’t giving it all away.
