When you think about it, having diversity in a place where there is one dominant culture is not a bad thing. Having diversity means that everyone is different. It can be good for us because we are all unique and different. Some people may find it weird, but I feel that diversity is actually a good thing. Diversity means that no matter who you are or what you do, you can come from anywhere and make a difference. It also means that if someone is gay or lesbian, they can belong to a group and contribute to society.
With the current political climate, gay people can’t feel safe anymore. There is not much tolerance of gay marriage right now, and I believe that’s a shame. I don’t want to see gay people suffer. How sad that someone has to go through that kind of pain just to be accepted. At least, when the world is on the brink of complete destruction and extinction, at least, I can be in an environment where I can make a difference. The number of people that are going to die out of the oceans will reach a hundred million people, so there’s still hope.
I’m glad that it doesn’t seem like the world is shutting down to gay people yet. Perhaps it will someday, but right now, I think we have to wait for our turn. We also have to be able to cope with it. Since so many people are already questioning our sexuality, I think there are many ways that we can cope with that. As long as there is diversity in our culture, we are still here.
